The theme for this year's Malaysian National Convention is Abundance. The theme dovetails with last year's theme Extraordinary [in the Holy Spirit].

In the Book of Genesis, Joseph experienced seven years of abundant crops. We believe that these few years is a season of abundance for Hope Malaysia. We continue to believe in God to pour out His abundance, through the Holy Spirit, into our church and our people's lives.

This year's lessons will be from the Book of Joel. The Book of Joel tells us of disaster in Judah when locusts ate up their crops. God sent the locusts as a form of judgment upon Judah for their unfaithfulness. But God promised a time of abundance if they would return to Him. In the Book of Acts, Joel's prophecy of the abundant outpouring of the Spirit was fulfilled. The Book of Joel also tells of a revival that will come in the end-time – a time in which we are living in today.

In these lessons, let's listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us in Hope Malaysia regarding God's abundance, and how to appropriate God's abundance in our lives and our churches!
